Call me somewhat old fashioned if you wish, but I am not a great fan of folks who fought in Nazi Regiments in World War Two. My Great Uncle died fighting against such chaps and three of the most important people in my life are Jewish who have very few relatives left in Europe because of what those Nazi fellows got up to. But, as I say, maybe I am just old fashioned. As the excerpt below shows a 98 year old man hot a standing ovation in the Canadian Parliament yesterday with President Zelensky also applauding. The President got 10 standing ovations as he addressed the fawning MPs.

So let me first say Slava Ukraini and that we should carry on sending UK taxpayers cash to President Zelensky’s Swiss bank account for as long as he wants. That was a joke BYW. The British mainstream media, led by the appalling Daily Mail has, from the start of the war in Ukraine bigged up Russian Casualties, bathing in the blood of every dead Russian. Day after day there are videos straight from Kiev showing Ukrainian snipers getting kills at record distances, drones blowing up Russian tanks or some other heroic act meaning more Russian mothers will be mourning their sons this Christmas. But there is a big omission.

Of course, Ukraine did not deliberately attack Poland. But last night two missiles landed a few miles away from the border with Ukraine killing two. Immediately, President Zelensky blamed Russia and urged NATO to stand by a member state and retaliate, to invoke clause 5. To start World War Three. The Daily Mail was still trying to blame the Russians and talking up WW3 this morning. It drank the war whisky without hesitation. But, thankfully, saner minds and the truth prevailed.

I start with a few words on some odious remarks made by Ukranian President Zelensky and a few more on Radio 5 Live Rugby commentary which was just so bad it was off the scale. Then it is onto share buying which is a sell signal, referencing two Nigel articles this weekend on UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and Advanced Oncotherapy(AVO) but bringing in incidents at Amur Minerals (AMC), Nanosynth (NNN) when it was the Strat Aero fraud and Jim Mellon’s Condor Gold (CNR)
